My Name is Gerard… but you can just call me Jerry.

I consider myself to be a pretty creative, ambitious person. I always have an idea in my head. I’m also pretty adventurous and love to try new things and go to new places.

Some of the weirder things about me… I hate sweets, I don’t think I have ever craved chocolate, candy, cookies, etc ever. I do, however, love sandwiches. I love people who make me sandwiches even more. Mmmm… sandwiches. I’m always hot, so its not uncommon for me to wear t-shirts year long and I rarely wear a coat. Water snakes also really creep me out for some reason.

I’m very competitive. Inherited it from my dad. I just ran the Chicago Marathon and hope to run it again next year. If you see a guy running at 1 in the morning, its probably me. My brother is a professional duatalete and triathlete and is training for the 2012/16 Olympics. He’s a crazy mofo. (http://www.rybread.com)

Other random stuff… I love going to concerts and festivals. Fall is my favorite season. I love to be artistic and creative. I love to ski. I play guitar. Camping rocks my world. Haikus confuse me. I have a dog named Maddie. I love to pull pranks. I am engaged and getting married to my best friend next fall… she has a nice butt.

I have many reasons why I started this blog…

I want to have some sort of personal journal to look back on some day. I want to share videos with family, friends, and the lurkers that randomly stumble upon this site. I want to write and reflect about current events. I want to share my knowledge about some things with others that want to learn about those things. I want to share music I enjoy so others can enjoy it with me. I want an outlet for all the things I think about all day…

With that said, I am going to have a loose daily agenda for what I write about. Some days will be about some of the more serious things going on in the world, while other days I might write about something random like butt plugs, or why the hot pocket I ate today was so delicious. All in all, this will be a very random blog…
