Summer Camp 2009

I have rented out enough space for 60 people… first come, first serve.

The cost of the Summer Camp 2009 weekend will be $25. For less than a night out in Chicago, this price will include:

- Your camp site rental for 2 nights
- 2 group dinners (Burgers, Brats, Chicken, Hot Dogs)
- A Summer Camp T-Shirt

The more people, the merrier, so feel free to bring your friends.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Governor Dodge State Park is located 2.5 hours away from the Chicagoland area. A group campsite has been reserved which is on a wooded, grassy surface. You will need to bring a tent. Setting up at the campsite is not allowed between 11pm and 6am, so please keep this in mind. The site does have picnic tables and large polar bears. Please bring your bow and arrows.

There are “real” toilets and showers for those who do not like bathing in lakes or crapping next to gophers.

Vehicles cannot be driven directly to the site to unload. All camping supplies and equipment must be carried, by hand, 665 feet, to the campsite.

Governor Dodge has a great beachfront area to swim, relax, play bags, washers, etc. You can also rent canoes, boats, go fishing, and skinny dip like 10th grade all over again. There are some great hiking and biking trails as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Everyone will be responsible for bringing their own food for breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc. You will also have to provide your own alcohol. I advise to bring plenty, we treat each day like St. Patrick’s Day. You must be 21, they are strict on underage drinking.

I will start accepting payments on this page on April 15, 2009. Please check back on that date for the paypal button.

After learning from experience, there will be no refunds, and no partial payments if you can only come for some of the days. Sorry, it just makes things less stressful and easier to deal with. All in all, I can promise this will be one of the cheapest, most fun getaways you will have this summer.
